With a history of design by Donald Ross, Wayne Stiles and Geoffrey Cornish, the club is fortunate to have one of only two courses that has felt the touch of this trio of New England's most prolific and distinguished golf course architects. More recent modifications, by Mark Mungeam, upgraded the layout for the 2010 Massachusetts Open— held as part of the club's centennial celebration. The club has hosted over a dozen championships sponsored by the USGA and Mass Golf. The course plays to a par of 71 and its six sets of tees provide yardages — ranging from 4,730 to 6,903 yards — for all abilities.

Reminder: Season Court Reservations Have Concluded
Weekly "Contract Time" tennis & pickleball court reservations for 2023-2024 wrapped up yesterday Sunday, April 28th. We hope your groups have all enjoyed playing together this indoor season.

Outdoor Courts – Open for the Season
All six of our outdoor clay courts are now officially open for the season!

The outdoor reservation scheduler is available to our members through CourtReserve. Please remember to reserve a court before coming to play. You can always reach out to our pro shop team if you need any assistance reserving a court or adjusting a reservation.

    Outdoor Operating Hours
    – The outdoor courts will be available for play beginning at 8:30am each day and will close for evening maintenance at 8pm. You will also see the courts closed for one hour each day to complete necessary maintenance around 12:30pm. We will stagger these maintenance closures when possible, to ensure there are always two courts available for play. The outdoor reservation scheduler has been updated to reflect these adjusted available hours. These closures allow our staff to perform necessary maintenance on the courts in the mornings, midday, and evenings to ensure they are kept in great shape for you all summer long.

In case you are new to racquets at WCC, the outdoor courts are laid out and numbered as follows:

    JUNIOR CLINIC BILLING REMINDER
We wanted to include a brief reminder about upcoming billing for junior development clinics. We have just billed the most recent session of junior clinics (running February – April) which means this charge will appear on the participant's April statement under today's date (4/29/24).

    JUNIOR TENNIS CLINICS
Junior Clinics will be running through Sunday, June 9th and are now available for registration on CourtReserve! We hope that this transition to online registration will help simplify the sign-up process for parents. Please contact the pro shop team at [email protected] for assistance getting registered or with any junior programming questions you may have.

Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate drop-in participants at our weekday after-school clinics. These clinics run as part of a 7-week session and all participants are required to commit to the full seven weeks. We can accommodate late starts to the session (space permitting) and those players would then be committing to the remaining weeks in the session at a pro-rated price.

    HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS CLINICS
Our Sunday group runs from 11:30am-1:00pm each week. Unlike the weekday junior clinics, these weekend groups allow for flexible attendance with no commitment needed. If your 8th grade or high school player is looking to get involved, feel free to sign up on CourtReserve for any week that they are available or email us at [email protected] for assistance.
